Vitamin D May Be a Useful Addition to Ovarian Cancer Treatment

A recent study found that vitamin D may be a useful addition to the treatment of ovarian cancer. This research found that vitamin D helped restore natural defenses of the body to prevent the spread of cancer. Vitamin D prevented the cancer from turning protective mesothelial cells into cancer-associated cells and even restored cancer associated cells to their normal state.
