Vitamin D Status in Psoriasis: Impact and Clinical Correlations

A recent study found that a significant number of psoriasis patients had low levels of vitamin D compare to healthy control subjects. Of the 285 psoriasis patents, 28.4% had insufficient levels of vitamin D and 30.9% had deficient levels. In comparison, of the 317 control subjects, 82% had sufficient levels and none were deficient.
